Welcome to the first official podcast of Blockchain Immersive, I am Baal Kadmon. In this podcast, I'm just going to introduce myself and why I'm qualified to discuss Cryptocurrency in general, and to give you some information as to what to expect from Blockchain Immersive. So, why am I qualified to even discuss Cryptocurrency investing, trading or Blockchain technology at all? It all started when I was 15 or 16 years old. I was fascinated by the market; I didn't understand it.

I didn't understand what stocks were. I didn't understand any of that. But there was something about it that really lured me in. I was living overseas at the time. My father sent me off to Israel because I was not a good kid. So, he sent me to sort of fix me up and make sure that I returned well-behaved.  I recall my mom sending me a bunch of Wall Street journals every few weeks. And at the time, Israel didn't have the Wall Street Journal. Remember this was in the 80s. Things were a lot different then.

I would look through the articles, I would look at the tables and all these things. I was just fascinated by it, like I said, I didn't fully understand any of it. But I knew at some point in my life I was going to be in this industry somehow. I didn't know yet. And I especially wanted to work for Merrill Lynch, Merrill Lynch was huge.

Fast-forward to the mid-90s and I get my chance to work on Wall Street, but not as a stockbroker. I started with commodities. I started with foreign exchange or forex back when it was the Wild West, when regulation wasn't quite there yet for the forex market. It was a crazy time. I loved commodities and I still do, because you when you trade commodities, you sort of have to have a global view of what's going on in the world anything from a drought that hits a crop to geopolitical events occurring around the world.

As my career grew, I became senior trader at a very small boutique firm, a commodities firm. I became at that time also a beta tester for a software that provided something called flash fills. And what is a flash for flash? A Flash fill is when you enter an order, a market order into the system and you are filled immediately. I mean, your order is executed immediately. Now, today, we take that for granted. Today, you expect that when you buy a stock online or a commodity or a Cryptocurrency. You're expecting to get in pretty much the moment you click enter.

But back in the 90s, that wasn't always the case. So, I was a beta tester for one of these applications. Now, not everything was hunky dory, right? I mean, I had some spectacular losses in commodities that I discuss in my course Blockchains, Cryptocurrencies and Beyond. But I learned from them. And over the years I've honed my skills, not only fundamental analysis, but also technical analysis of the commodities markets and stocks, too.

I traded stocks on my own. I never traded stocks professionally, only commodities and forex. So I love trading. I've been trading ever since for my own account after I left Wall Street in 2008, 2009 rather. I was content just trading for myself. And then, in 2015 I was introduced to Cryptocurrency. Now, I've heard all the talk about Cryptocurrency prior to that, but I didn't really know what it was and I didn't really care because, commodities was, my bread and butter, and forex as well.

I didn't really pay attention until an article came across my desk. I finally discovered what it was and there was a lot of technical aspects to it, software coding. And in the 90s, I was sort of like a low-level hacker, very innocent stuff. So, I'm actually very comfortable with coding. And so when I started to look behind the scenes of Ethereum and ERC20 tokens, it's like, oh, this is coding. More specifically, Solidity, which, by the way, I will discuss in one of my courses.

I'm actually quite comfortable with technology. And let's just say that I've been in love with cryptocurrencies ever since. Now, I still trade commodities and everything else, but Cryptocurrency has become really a passion of mine. Now, many people don't know this about me because most people know me as the internationally bestselling author in the Occult and spiritual spaces, which I love. I actually my love of Wall Street. And the Occult started at the same time. I know, it's sort of a weird mix. A  lot of people only know me as an Occult author, but most of us have many different interests and I'm really honored that I'm able to bring my other interests in as well. Now, I'm hoping the same for people who are interested in Cryptocurrency, but not necessarily the Occult, and that they would give me a chance to also teach them, even if they're not into the Occult, because I am not going to mix the two topics.

There might be some overlap with certain things, but I'm going to pretty much keep them separate. If you're interested to see what other writings I have. You can go to www.baalkadmon.com.

Why did I create Blockchain Immersive? I actually wasn't going to, but my good friend Chaweon Koo, who I know from my Occult interests, was bringing up a lot of interesting topics on Cryptocurrency. And, you know, like I said, I usually kept that side to myself, and we started to talk, and she was like, “wow, you know, you should create a course on this.” And let's just say the rest is history. We have Chaweon Koo to thank for these endeavors, because I really was not moving in this direction initially.

What am I going to cover and Blockchain Immersive? Well, pretty much all things Cryptocurrency and Blockchain. My format is going to be a little different from other channels. I would say about 80 percent of my podcasts and videos will be based on questions I received regarding Cryptocurrency and Blockchain, and I've already received a ton of questions, so I'm going to be busy for a while. The other 20 percent are going to be topics that I'll bring up that might be a little bit obscure. And some of them might be just lessons and things to consider when investing or looking into Cryptocurrency or Blockchain technology.

I'm really excited about this. I have a lot of work ahead of me. I have many, many podcasts coming, as well as courses. If you are interested and taking one of the courses, please go to www.blockchainimmersive.com and you'll see the available courses on that page.

If you have any questions that you would like to see on this podcast, both in video and audio, please go to www.blockchainimmersive.com/questions and just fill out the form with your question. I won't mention your name in the podcast or anything like that.

That's it for me for today. I really look forward to your questions and I really look forward to being your guide through the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain spaces.
